SBSLC 2009 Registration Policy

SBSLC 2009 online registration will be open from September 15, 2008- January 9, 2009.

Registration Deadlines:

Regular Registration:

September 15, 2008- December 15, 2008

Registration Fee: $145

Late Registration:

December 16, 2008- January 9, 2009

Registration Fee: $165

Please note that late registrants may not be guaranteed registration for the 2009 conference if maximum capacity is reached before late registration date/deadline.

Form of Payment:

Online using a credit card. Accepted credit cards include VISA, Master Card and Discovery.

IMPORTANT: A convenience fee will be required for on-line payments. We will not be reimbursing any convenience fee charges.

Other forms of Payments - Money Orders, Cashier Checks, University Checks,

Personal Checks WILL NOT be accepted

IMPORTANT

From the date of registration, payments must be submitted within 3 weeks (business/working days) or else registration WILL be cancelled!!!

• If for any reason payment can not be sent within the required 3 weeks, please email registration at registration.sbslc@yahoo.com, or call Karen Chioma Onyirioha, Director of Registration, at (979) 845 - 4565.
• We are aware that checks cut by universities take awhile, but we are more than happy to work with you.
• Individuals that register late will have until January 22, 2009 to submit payment, or else registration will be terminated.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

• To cancel a registration and request a refund, a written request must be sent to registration.sbslc@yahoo.com, or faxed to (979) 862- 2640. Telephone request will not be honored.
• Refund request received or postmarked by December 28, 2008 will receive 50% of the registration fee.
• Refund request receive or postmarked by January 9, 2009 will receive 25% of the registration fee.
• Refund request received or post marked after January 9, 2009 will not be honored.

Weather:

SBSLC will not be refunding payments made due to weather conditions that may hinder conference attendance, unless a request is received before the above dates. We are aware how unexpected weather conditions may be, but SBSLC still has to cover the cost of your registration even in the event that you can not attend.
